Introduction

Dai Prà S.r.l. is an Italian manufacturer with roots in the early 20th century. The business started in tunnel and bridge construction and has over four generations specialised in machinery for geotechnical works. NASPS is the Nordic distributor and handles supply, commissioning, operator training and service.

A plant is built from three parts. The turbo mixer produces a colloidal grout and handles cement or bentonite at ratios up to 2.5:1 cement to water without additives. The agitator holds the mixed grout and keeps it homogeneous by slow stirring until it is pumped. The injection pump delivers it at the set pressure and flow. For stable grout the agitator should hold at least twice the volume of the mixer.

The plants are used for self-drilling anchors and micropiles, sheet pile and pipe wall sealing, tunnel grouting and post-grouting, jet grouting, soil stabilisation, shotcrete and geothermal work, and for injecting reagents in environmental remediation.

Drive can be electric, diesel, hydraulic or compressed air. Electric plants suit sites with electrification requirements, and the compact units can also run straight off a drilling rig’s hydraulic system.

Any electrically powered plant can be fitted with a datalogger. It records dosing, mix ratio and pumping parameters per work location, stops the injection automatically when a set pressure or volume is reached, and transfers data over USB or a SIM connection so parameters can be followed and adjusted from the office. Daily reports per location support documentation, traceability and billing.

Every plant is configured for the project. Tell us the pressure, flow, number of injectors and level of automation you need — the data sheet below lists what we need to know — and we put together a proposal.

Automation

LevelDisplayCovers
RemoteIn10 inchInjection: break pressure, max pressure, volume, GIN stop and constant flow rate. Pressure sensor and flow meter included.
RemoteMes10 inchMixing: three recipes weighed on load cells, compressor, pneumatic valves and water loading pump. Replaces the separate weighing system.
RemoteTot16 inchBoth of the above in one system.

Figures are indicative and confirmed for each configuration. Plants with automatic mixing (RemoteMes) or full automation (RemoteTot) need more room, roughly 200 × 200 cm, and the footprint is checked against the chosen setup.

Accessories include wash pump with lance and hose reel, water loading pump, weighing system on load cells, compressor with pneumatic valves, hose reels, shotcrete nozzles and excavator attachments, packers, and silo and screw conveyor feeding.
